What is SUVA all about?
Sydney's Unique Venues Association (SUVA) is today one of Australia’s most prestigious collection of venues. SUVA is a collaboration of over 60 unique venues in and around Sydney that specialise in making unique locations available for any event – wedding receptions, cocktail parties, gala dinners, corporate hospitality, film and TV shoots, conferences, meetings and incentives.
Each venue have their own charm and offer something truly unique, from sparkling harbour views to venues with educational and historical value or beautiful gardens and outdoor facilities. Many are Sydney icons and landmarks that offer a great alternative to traditional function centres and hotels.
With something for every occasion, SUVA has an unrivalled wealth of choice when it comes to venues. The very nature of SUVA venues often means little theming is required. In many cases you have the opportunity to combine your event with unique activities. Your guests could enjoy their favourite carnival ride, guided tours of the numerous galleries and museums, an afternoon at the races or even an active sporting day. The SUVA website offers an online venue finding service helping event planners, corporations and individuals alike find places ’outside the box’ including art studios or galleries, museums and theatres, entertainment venues, universities, theme parks, sporting grounds, historic sites and parklands.
A not for profit organisation, SUVA is dedicated to the promotion of unique venues as an alternate to traditional convention centres and hotels. The association is lead by a team of dedicated industry professionals who all work in unique venues.
