Australian National Maritime Museum

Situated on absolute waterfront, the museum offers a variety of indoor and outdoor venues with spectacular views of the harbour and city skyline. Our unique venues and historic vessel collection provide the perfect setting for city based events up to 500 guests. For something different consider combining your event with an open gallery or vessel tour, a curatorial talk or an afternoon sailing on the harbour.

The museum is teamed with Bayleaf Catering – renowned for innovation and exceptional design and quality of menus.

Facilities include:

  • Fully equipped Theatre with the adjacent Tasman Light & Deck area for registrations and refreshments
  • The waterfront Terrace Room, ideal for dinner and cocktail events featuring an outdoor balcony area with sweeping views of the city
  • HMB Endeavour & HMAS Vampire, the museum’s historic vessels where celebrations can be held on board
  • YOTS, the Museum’s stylish daytime café, situated on the museum boardwalk and available for evening events
  • The North Wharf Marquee available each year from November to December where magnificent functions can be held on one of the most beautiful harbours in the world
