The Australian Museum (AM) was founded in 1827 and is the nation’s first museum. It is internationally recognised as a natural science and culture institution focused on Australia and the Pacific. As custodian of more than 21.9 million objects and specimens, the AM is uniquely positioned to provide a greater understanding of the region through its scientific research, exhibitions and public and education programs.

Our unique venue spaces provide the opportunity to network and celebrate milestone moments in style and surrounded by the creativity and wonder of the natural and cultural worlds. Choose from seven venues as unique as you are and dance with dinosaurs, sip cocktails with the animals or dine amongst rare cultural treasures as you marvel at human endeavour and discovery. Our dedicated events team is ready to help you create an event that your guests will remember and talk about for years to come.
